Clinic sign-in
Use the clinic account configured by your administrator. Hosted and local installations have separate accounts.
For the hosted pilot, use the administrator email and password configured in Render. Local demo credentials do not sign in here. Contact your clinic administrator if you need access.

Clinic worklist
Upcoming follow-ups and vaccination due dates from structured medical profiles. Verified items only by default; this is a manual worklist, not an appointment system or an automated reminder service. Due dates must be entered and verified by staff.

Training: fictional practice case
Use an existing fictional patient or create a new one. These steps guide a manual exercise; they do not mark any records approved or claim clinical validation. Avoid real patient information.
Open complete clinic journey (fictional data)
One patient, one appointment, one visit and one bill. This is a manual training path using existing screens; it does not create or approve data automatically. Record which steps work before any live-clinic trial.
- Register or select patient and owner. Confirm pet, owner and patient identity.
- Schedule and check in. In Clinic Day use the existing scheduler, select the clinician, save the appointment, then check the patient in. Verify no duplicate visit is created.
- Review owner intake and consent. Verify source and consent; never copy unverified statements as clinical findings.
- Document the consultation. Enter actual fictional encounter details; produce an editable SOAP draft, review its content and save as draft.
- Review labs, imaging and medications. Check orders, results, attachments, clinician attribution and any medication directions in existing Records and Visits. Review and approve clinical entries before use.
- Approve clinical records. Correct the draft and approve only with a clinician-authorized account. Confirm a receptionist cannot approve.
- Complete discharge and owner instructions. Review follow-up, medication instructions and handout in the existing Visits workflow; verify no silent release.
- Invoice and reconcile inventory. In existing Billing review itemized charges, issue the invoice explicitly and record a manual payment only when it actually occurred. Check relevant stock adjustments.
- Verify follow-up and exports. Check reminders, the patient timeline, approved-only report exports, and correct client/pet identity.
- Check staff boundaries and recovery. Sign in as front desk and clinician separately, verify restricted actions are denied, and practice restoring a copy of the fictional clinic backup without overwriting the original.
Stop the pilot if records appear under the wrong patient, permissions fail, an unreviewed note is treated as approved, or charges are duplicated. This training is not clinical validation.
Example fictional consultation notes
FICTIONAL TEST CASE ONLY — NO REAL PATIENT DATA Owner reports left ear scratching for two days. Appetite and activity are unchanged. On examination, mild redness of the left external ear was documented. No laboratory testing was performed. No definitive diagnosis established. No medication prescribed. Recheck was advised if the scratching persists or worsens.
Passing this walkthrough checks software handoffs, not diagnostic accuracy, regulatory compliance, or suitability for real clinical records.

Access, audit and backup
Administration is restricted to clinic administrators. Local backups are unencrypted and must be kept private.
Select a fictional patient
Saved patients and documents remain available after refreshing or restarting Canigenix.
Clinical record timeline
Visit dates appear only when explicitly entered and checked against the original record. Undated records are grouped separately and ordered by when they were saved. Nothing here is an automatically verified diagnosis or medication list.
Clinician-verified chart updates
These are reviewed structured entries, not necessarily separate visits. Dates refer only to the clinician-entered recorded or due date.
Structured medical profile
Manually entered items are drafts until a clinician explicitly verifies them. Linking an approved source document does not automatically verify an item. Missing allergy information means not documented, never “no known allergies.” This preview does not infer or reconcile current medications from visit notes.
Add or edit a medical-profile entry
Save clinical notes through Records → Save a manual document, or use the visit editor.
Document a visit
Enter your visit notes, then open the SOAP builder to review and save a draft.
Canigenix automatically uses the selected saved patient profile. You do not need to enter the patient's name, breed, age or sex again. Nothing is automatically saved.
Consultation workbench
No selected patient
Select the correct patient to load read-only chart context.
Describe a fictional consultation in one Copilot message using clear cues such as “Owner reports … On exam … Assessment: … Plan: …”. Copilot will show a review-only preview first. It never generates unprovided findings or replaces an unfinished note.
No source comparison prepared. Use clinician-entered SOAP wording, then generate an unapproved draft.
No visit observations entered.
No chart data loaded.
Use the existing Consultation notes field below. Copilot accepts exact clinician wording with “Add to subjective: …” and similar commands. Chart entries are never copied into today's observations automatically. Nothing here saves, approves, or prescribes.
Consultation audio → editable transcript (local AI)
For fictional demonstrations only. Upload audio or explicitly start microphone recording. Whisper runs locally; on first use it downloads the speech model. The audio is deleted from temporary storage after processing and is never added to the chart. No automatic saving.
Microphone is off. Recording requires browser permission.
Unverified transcript — clinician must correct errors
Check the original audio for misheard numbers, doses, names, negations, and speaker mix-ups. This transcript is NOT a clinical note. The original audio is not preserved in Canigenix.
Not reviewed or saved.
Review the generated note before saving
Compare original notes with the SOAP draft before saving
This is a review aid, not a diagnostic or medication validator.
Original consultation notes
Review needed before saving the unapproved SOAP draft.
Not saved. Edit the draft before saving it to this patient.
Saved patient records
Review drafts before approving them. Approved records remain locked for review and export.
Select a saved document to review its original text.
Upload a record (TXT, PDF or Word)
Original file is saved locally for download. Extracted text is a separate, editable draft: verify it before approval. Only approved documents become Ask Canigenix sources. DOCX text is extracted for review; embedded Word images are not read. Scanned PDFs require local Tesseract OCR plus the optional OCR Python packages. OCR is unverified: check every scanned page against the original, especially medication names, numbers, units, and negations. Synthetic data only.
Save a manual document or history summary
Draft
Approval locks this draft. To revise an approved document, create a separate new draft. Admin deletion removes both the record and its attached original from the active chart, but a SQLite backup retains them. This is not an electronic signature.
Patient records export & reports
Download printable patient records or a referral packet. Only approved documents and clinician-verified chart entries are included by default. Original uploaded files are not embedded. Preview and verify every PDF before sharing.
Prepare a pet-owner visit summary PDF
Select one approved source note, then write the plain-language summary yourself. Canigenix will not invent treatment instructions or summarize the source automatically. The PDF is generated for clinician review, not sent to anyone.
Ask Canigenix — approved patient documents
Ask about this fictional patient's approved saved documents. Draft and other patients' records are excluded. Answers are unverified, and citations point to excerpts rather than independently checked facts.
